Please find attached details of a proposed temporary road closure on Ancliffe Lane, Bolotn le Sands on the Tuedsay 18th November 2025 to allow engineer to safely access overhead and underground structures on behalf of Openreach.
Bolton le Sands are looking for on call fire fighters to join their team. If you can respond from work or home within 5 minutes and fancy being a part of this team, applications are now open until 7th November 2025.
More than 200 residents attended the July consultation meeting on plans for 200 homes on Green Belt land between Slyne-with-Hest and Bolton-le-Sands. Thank you to all who came, shared concerns, and helped shape the Parish Councils’ response to Lancaster City Council.
A section of Main Road in Bolton-le-Sands will be closed to traffic from 27 to 29 August 2025 to allow United Utilities to replace a lead water supply pipe. A diversion will be in place and pedestrian access will be maintained throughout.
