Lancaster City Council Launch Public Air Quality Portal

While we continually monitor air quality daily, thanks to 13 new sensors across the district, residents will now be able to keep tabs on it too via the EarthSense Portal.

Residents can see what air pollution levels are and when peaks are occurring, enabling them to avoid more polluted areas such as when socialising, exercising outdoors or commuting by bicycle.

Please note the Bolton-le-Sands sensor is currently offline, but should be operational again soon.
