New Ball Shot Installed on the Recreation Field

We are delighted to announce that a brand-new three-way Ball Shot has now been installed on the village recreation field, adding another exciting and inclusive play feature for children and families to enjoy.

The Ball Shot is a robust and interactive piece of play equipment designed to encourage fun, movement and coordination. Children place a ball into the top of the unit and watch as it travels through one of three exit tunnels – the surprise of not knowing where it will pop out adds to the enjoyment and helps develop throwing, catching and reaction skills.

Built for durability, the three-way shooter is supported by a strong steel post and is designed to withstand heavy use, making it a long-lasting addition to our recreational facilities.

This new amenity has been made possible thanks to a generous donation from the remaining funds of the former Gala Committee. The Parish Council would like to extend its sincere thanks to the Committee for choosing to invest their legacy in a feature that will benefit local children and families for many years to come.

The Ball Shot will now be included in the Parks & Recreation Facilities section of the Parish Council website, alongside other amenities available on the recreation field.
