✅ GOV.UK Domain – A Mark of Trust: Our new website uses a gov.uk domain, enhancing credibility and assuring residents they are interacting with an official source of council information.

✅ Accessibility by Design: Following the GOV.UK Design System, the website provides a consistent user experience while meeting web accessibility standards. This ensures the site is usable by all members of our community.

✅ Responsive Mobile Design: The new website is fully responsive, adapting seamlessly to desktop, tablet, and smartphone devices. Helping residents to access information on whatever device they are using.

✅ Ease of Use and Efficiency: The website is user-friendly and much easier to update. Its integration with a dedicated mapping service helps us pinpoint public assets like locations of defibrillators, council-owned land, and neighbourhood plans without duplicating efforts.

✅ Official Council Email Addresses: We now have dedicated gov.uk email addresses for council members and staff, enhancing security, transparency, and compliance with data privacy regulations.

✅ Connecting Our Community: With this new website, we aim to foster greater community connections by sharing useful information, resources, and events. We look forward to working together to build on the long history of strong and vibrant community groups in Bolton-le-Sands.
