Silverdale Parish Council is currently seeking two dedicated individuals to join their team in important administrative roles.
They are inviting applications for the following positions:
Clerk to the Council / Responsible Financial Officer
- Hours: 35 hours per month (mainly from home)
- Salary: Starting from £15.84 to £17.29 per hour, based on experience and qualifications (Local Government Services Pay Agreement 2024-25 Scale Range, LC2 18-23).
- Additional Information: The Clerk will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the council, including finance, record-keeping, and compliance with governance. There is an initial 6-month probationary period for this post, with opportunities for training and development.
Minute Taker
- Hours: 10 to 16 hours per month (mainly from home)
- Salary: £12.50 per hour.
- Additional Information: The Minute Taker will assist in documenting the proceedings of council meetings and ensuring the accurate production of minutes. This role also carries a 6-month probationary period and comes with the opportunity for training.
Both roles are offered on a flexible basis, with the possibility to combine the Clerk and Minute Taker responsibilities for a full-time position if preferred. Further details will be provided upon application.
