School Traffic and Parking Safety Update April 2025
The Parish Council has published its April 2025 update on traffic and parking near Bolton-le-Sands Primary School, covering site visit findings, EIR outcomes, pupil concerns, and next steps to improve safety.

The Parish Council has published its latest update following the February 2025 site visit to Bolton-le-Sands Primary School.
On the 27th February a site visit was arranged and attended by:
- Head Teacher, Bolton-le-Sands Primary School
- Constable, Morecambe Police
- Road Traffic Officer, Morecambe Police
- Countywide Manager for Traffic and Road Safety Engineering, Lancashire County Council
- Lancaster City Councillors for Bolton and Slyne
- Bolton-le-Sands Parish Councillors
To provide a clearer understanding of the situation, we walked the route from the school gate on Bolton Lane, to the pedestrian access to school via Packet Lane. This detailed map highlights the key areas of concern we discussed.
